Federal Bank invites applications for Probationary Officers and clerks
Federal Bank invites applications for the following Posts (i) Clerks and (ii) Probationary Officers. Candidates are advised to apply online only between January 30, 2008 and February 15, 2008 through the Bank’s website www.federalbank.co.in after carefully going through the instructions contained in this advertisement. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted. The Online registration will not be considered valid unless the computer printout of the system generated application along with the demand draft, photograph affixed and signed across and self-attested copies of the requisite certificates is received by ordinary post at the specified address.

DA, HRA, CCA will be paid as per rules depending upon the place of posting. Medical Aid, Hospitalisation Scheme, Leave fare concession, retirement benefits and other perquisites will be admissible as per Bank’s rules. On a cost-to-company basis, the monthly pay packet for Clerks and Probationary Officers including all the allowances and perquisites will be approximately Rs.11200/- and Rs.31500/- respectively subject to changes from time to time. | |

(i) Graduation in Agriculture/ Engineering means those who have passed a 10+2+4 year course. Graduation in Law means those who have passed 10+2+5 year course in law or degree in any subject + 3 year course in Law. Other Post graduation means those who have passed 10+2+3+2 year course in the relevant subject.
(ii) Candidates should have acquired the educational qualifications as on January 01, 2008 through regular campus based study and not through private study/ correspondence/ distance learning programmes.
(iii) Candidates whose results are awaited are not eligible.
(iV) Working Knowledge of computers is essential for both posts.

- A valid email id for filling in the application. In case the candidate does not have a valid email id, he/ she can create a new email id. This email id should be valid for the duration of the recruitment process.
- Copies of a recent passport size colour photograph for pasting on the system generated printout of the application and on the call letter.
- Valid proof of identity such PAN card/ Passport/ Voter ID card/ Driving license/ Permanent Identity card issued by the present employer or any other valid proof of identification with a photograph.
- Demand Draft of Rs. 250/- as non refundable application fee for General category candidates or Demand Draft of Rs. 50/- as non refundable application fee for SC/ ST candidates applying for the post of Clerk. Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- as non refundable application fee for General category candidates or Demand Draft of Rs. 75/- as non refundable application fee for SC/ ST candidates applying for the post of Officer. No other financial instrument other than a demand draft favouring “The Federal Bank Ltd.” payable at Cochin/ Ernakulam shall be accepted. A candidate must write his/ her full name, post applied for, system generated registration number on the reverse of the demand draft. The demand draft must be purchased on or after the date of opening of the Online Registration Gateway i.e. January 30, 2008 but before the close of business on February 15, 2008 i.e. Close of Online Registration Gateway. Even if the Bank extends the last date of registration due to technical reasons, the valid dates during which the demand draft should be purchased as indicated above will not be changed.
After applying online the candidate is required to download the system generated printout of the application. The system generated printout of the application should be signed by the candidate and sent along with:
- The application fee in the form of Demand Draft.
- Copies of certificates pertaining to age, educational qualifications.
- Copies of Caste/ Tribe certificates for SC/ ST candidates only.
- Photograph pasted in the given place and signed across.
