Eligibility Criteria:

  • The age of the candidate should be less than 26 years.
  • The candidate must be a Law graduate OR
  • Candidate must have completed Post Graduation in Science with minimum 60% marks OR
  • Post Graduation in Commerce/ Arts with minimum 55% marks OR
  • Graduation in Engineering/ Agriculture with minimum 60% marks OR
  • MBA with minimum 55% marks OR
  • MCA with minimum 55% marks OR
  • Chartered Accountancy from any recognized university or other institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956.
Important Dates:
  • Commencement of online registration: Last week of January, 2008.
  • Last date of online registration: Mid of February, 2009.
  • Date of Entrance examination: Mid of March, 2009.
NOTE: Candidates may download the call letters from the website from March 10, 2008 onwards by entering their registration number and password.
Pay Scale:
  • Candidates offered Probationary Officer (Scale I) cadre posts will be in the pay scale of Rs.10000 - 470/6 ? 12820 ? 500/3 ? 14320 ? 560/7 - 18240.
Selection Criteria:
  • All the candidates must appear in written test.
  • The candidates will be short-listed on the basis of the merit obtained by them in the written test.
  • The short-listed candidates will be then called for Personal Interview.
  • The final selection list will be declared after the commencement of the PI completes.
Details of Examination:
  • All the questions in the examination will be of Multiple Choice Type (MCQ)
  • The questions will cover the topics like:
  1. General and Financial Awareness
  2. English Language
  3. Quantitative Aptitude
  4. Reasoning
  5. Computer Knowledge and Aptitude
  6. Marketing Aptitude
