Bank Eligibility criteria Is 59.9% similar to 60%

The most common question that was posed to us through the post "Ask Question on bank jobs in India" was the confusion over eligbility criteria.Although we have provided the solution for Federal bank jobs,we would like to clarify for all other jobs including Central government jobs,Jobs in public sector banks and private banks.

Incase of minimum eligibility being fixed at 60%,you must have either secured exactly or above 60%.If you have scored 59.8%,it wont be rounded off to the nearest whole number.Hence,you will not eligible for the job ,if the score is less than the prescribed percentage,even by .01% .
