SBI has announced the recruitment of 11.000 clerks.
Written Examination will be conducted on 8th November and 15th November.

General Awareness:
There will be 40 questions with multiple choice answers. The questions are based on Politics, economy, Books, authors
General English:
There will be 40 questions with multiple choice answers. The questions are based on synonyms, antonyms, sentence formation errors, prepositions
Quatitative Aptitude
There will be 40 questions on Numercail Ability with multiple choice type answers. Even though the questions are based on basic mathematical skills. One should possess accuracy and quickness in calculations. Following short cut methods in calcualtions will save time.
Reasoning Ability:
There will be 40 questions on Reasoning Ability which is again multiple choice type. It depends completely o reasonsing ability, alertness and quckness in choosing the right answer.
Computer Knowledge
This section consists of 40 questions with multiple choice answers. Basic knowledge about Internet, MS office, basic questions on working of the computer, Email are required.
The questions in these objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be printed in bilingual i.e., English & Hindi.

Negative Marking:
SBI will deduct 1/4th mark for each wrong answer in the objective type test.
The best way to avoid negative marking is to take a guess of the most probable answer based on your knowledge on that particualr subject, as you can not leave every question unanswered

How to qualify in SBI written test:
The passing marks in each of the test swill be decided by the Bank on the basis of the performance of all the competing candidates taken together in each test to a minimum required level.
Candidates are also required to score a minimum 40% (35% for SC/ST/PWD/XS) marks on aggregate to be considered for being called for interview. Bank reserves the right to vary this cut off.
Interview:
Only a certain number of candidates who qualify by ranking high will be called for interview based on the number of vacancies.
